Is the ticket for entry to the Colosseum included in my purchase? +
Yes, entry to the Colosseum in Rome, the Forums, and Palatine Hill is included in all of our products that indicate so during the booking process.
What should I do if I have a reservation with a GUIDED TOUR? +
Once you have completed your ticket purchase on our website, you will receive a purchase confirmation via email. In a subsequent email, you will receive a link to access the private area of our website, where you can download your access tickets for the monument, as well as the audio guide (if you have also selected it). Your tickets will indicate the meeting point for the start of the guided tour. You must be at that location on the date and time you selected. Please arrive in advance to ensure you can enjoy your guided tour without any issues.
What should I do if I have booked tickets with an AUDIO GUIDE? +
If you book a reservation with an audio guide, you must follow the instructions provided in the reservation confirmation email to download or collect it.
What documentation do I need to access the monument? +
For the Colosseum, the Roman Forums, and Palatine Hill, the tickets are nominative, which means that at the entrance to the monument, you will be asked to present a physical original identity document (ID or equivalent) or passport. This is mandatory for entry.
Can I present my tickets in digital format? +
Yes, there is no problem. They can be presented in any digital format as long as all the details are perfectly legible.
Do children need tickets? +
Yes, all visitors need a ticket to enter, regardless of age. Without a ticket, they will not be allowed to access the monument. Children under 18 years old can enter the monument for free, but they must go directly to the ticket office to collect their tickets in person; it is not possible to reserve tickets online.
Can I change or cancel my tickets? +
Once the reservation request has been made, neither the name, date, time, nor the tickets can be modified or canceled, so you are not entitled to any refund. This is explicitly stated on our website and is explicitly accepted during the purchase process, including the final step where the cancellation policy is acknowledged. No exceptions or reasons (COVID, illness, work-related reasons, trip cancellation, etc.) will be accepted, as published and defined. Once the purchase is made, THERE WILL BE NO RIGHT TO REFUND OR PAYMENT REIMBURSEMENT, in accordance with the public regulations of the monument, except in the following cases: In the event that a purchased service cannot be provided due to the closure of the monument, you will be entitled to a full refund, which will be made automatically using the same method used for the ticket payment.

Is it possible to eat inside the monument? +
It is not possible to bring food or drink from outside into the Colosseum in Rome. It is also not possible to purchase food inside the Colosseum. However, it is possible to drink water from the numerous drinking fountains within the facilities.
Is there a locker service at the monument? +
There are no lockers available.
Is the visit canceled in case of rain? +
No, the visit can be carried out in any weather conditions.
What happens if the monument closes? +
The closure of the monument occurs on rare occasions. In exceptional cases, the monument may inform us of its closure at very short notice. In this case, we can reschedule your visit for another day or refund 100% of your money.
Can pets access the monument? +
It is possible to access the open areas of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill with small dogs (weighing between 5 kg and 10 kg). The Colosseum, Domus Aurea, and all enclosed areas are excluded. Dogs must be transported in an appropriate carrier, provided by the visitors, and strollers for dogs are not allowed. Access for dogs is free and has no additional cost. After passing the security checks, dogs must remain in the carrier for the duration of the visit. In the case of a therapy dog or companion for a person with a disability, appropriate documentation must be presented.
Can I enter the Colosseum at a different time than the one selected during my purchase? +
No, the tickets purchased are for the date and time you selected during the purchase process. Attending on a different date/time means you will not be able to access the monument.
How long can I stay inside the Colosseum, the Forums, and Palatine Hill? +
There is no time limit for staying inside. Your visit will be limited only by the opening hours of the monument during each period of the year.
